our story

A mother, a daughter,
and a wood-fired oven.

The Village Hearth is a brick-and-mortar, mother-daughter-operated eatery in Daajing Giids, Haida Gwaii — making small-batch, handmade wood-fired pizzas alongside espresso drinks, breakfast, lunch and snacks.

In their own words: “good for the body and good for the soul foods in a clean, bright environment hosting some great characters to go with the spectacular views.”
